The current hotel facilities, which date back to the 1950s, are set on a unique vantage point that overlooks the suggestive river Orcia gorge and the splendid surrounding landscape.

Our traditional hospitality ensures that our guests are offered a relaxing stay during which they can unwind. Our hotel’s large and comfortable lounges, furnished with family antiques, are there to welcome them and they can experience the simple calm of a stay in one of our 36 rooms, which are all equipped with modern comforts.

Anyone spending some time with us is welcome to make use of our various venues, both interior and exterior, from our thermal water swimming pool, to our spa, and our Wellness Area. Guests are able to chose their own wellness itinerary without the limitations of pre-arranged packages, although of course they should keep to our house rules.

Our guests will find that numerous facilities are available to them, from a panoramic thermal water swimming pool, filled with naturally hot water, to a large park with a tennis court; from the Water Room, fitted with all kinds of wellness facilities, to the elegant surroundings of the Wellness Area where you can choose from massages and high quality beauty treatments.

Our famous historical Restaurant’s cuisine is solidly based on traditional dishes from the area. These are sometimes reinterpreted, with special attention given to the quality of the ingredients used, and are enhanced by an interesting Wine List. Our dining room overlooks the swimming pool and is connected to the panoramic restaurant terrace which is open throughout the warm season.

Our Conduit Room, with meeting facilities for up to 40 people, allows you to combine work and relaxation in perfect harmony.

Our cosy Lounge Bar, "il Barrino", is the place to go for an aperitif and an after dinner drink. It is known throughout Siena and the surrounding province for its excellent cocktails and for its, by now, memorable live music concerts, which are highly awaited fixtures for lovers of the genre.

If your pets are well-behaved, then they, too, are welcome at our hotel, although they will not, of course, be allowed to follow you into the restaurant or the various hotel facilities.
